I use research, Lean and Agile UX principles and design thinking to help clients problem-find and problem-solve based on empathy.  I build products that produce results and create business value. I am most passionate about sharing knowledge and exchanging ideas that facilitate user adoption, and creating user experiences that are efficient, approachable, and engaging.


May 2016 – Present

  •  Participated in product and feature ideation and conceptual development for web and enterprise solutions, also taking into account responsive design considerations
  • Produced style guide, user requirements specifications, conceptual models, personas, storyboards/scenarios, flow charts, conceptual sketches, wireframes, design prototypes, and visual design artifacts
  • Designed and specified user interfaces using participatory and iterative design techniques, including observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, heuristic analysis, wireframe analysis, and card sorting exercises and other forms of requirements discovery

  • Created high-fidelity interaction models, user task flows, screen designs, and user interface details that promoted ease of use and optimized task flows

  •  Lead designer on major assignments including the development and launch of three uniques brands over the period of one fiscal year
  • Designed responsive interfaces to work flawlessly with multiple devices
  • Responsible for implementing usability and industry standards, architecture and navigation for the web and other digital platforms
  • Utilized Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop software to produce prototypes for stakeholders and developers 
  • Improved client revenues by an average of 9% by translating business requirements into user interface design specifications for a variety of mobile applications
  • Established UX design as the first stage of all web and mobile application development, instituting a user-centered design approach

  • Contributed to the success of a $52 million cost-savings initiative by converting paper-based Customer Care training tools to online tools
  • Created an additional $30 million in savings by designing a performance support tool that reduced the average handle time of Customer Care Advocates
  • Saved company more than $100,000 by initiating and developing key relationships within Internal Communications Department, providing visual print and web-based solutions



November 1999 – January 2001

  • A core member of a CSC prototype consisting of designers and developers with a primary objective of re-establishing market place dominance of user experience software development with a strategic focus on front-end User Interface design
  • Traveled nationally to meet with clients to assess their needs, produce creative briefs, and concepts and mock-ups for websites
  • Managed a team of designers and developers to ensure all online communications products were produced on-time with competitive pricing and exceptional quality


HALLMARK CARDS, INC. | Graphic Designer/Illustrator

January 1995 – October 1999

  • Introduced new and distinctive branding to Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments displays with a campaign that resulted in $29 million revenue increase
  • Developed branding guidelines to reduce printing costs while improving efficiency in mode of delivery and installation of POS and POP displays
  • Exceeded annual goal of producing 500 appropriately styled typographic repro-quality art for a variety of Hallmark and Ambassador card and non-card products
  •  Insured consistent brand quality standards were met while partnering with licensed brands (Disney, Dr. Seuss, NFL, NHL, NASCAR) through collaboration with outside agencies, production artists, and vendors
